HOW TO INSTALL STABILIZER KITS

The stabilizer kits come with two galvanized steel rods and are meant to push the dock posts out for more stability. Stabilizer kits are available for: Four-foot and five-foot wide Truss Docks with rectangle posts Four-foot and five-foot wide Post Docks with round posts In this video, we are showing stabilizers for a four-foot wide Truss Dock with rectangle posts. Start by sliding the larger bracket end of the stabilizer pole onto the lower portion of one of the dock posts. Flex the rod to fit the post into the smaller top bracket. Place the second rod the same way, but starting on the opposite post. The stabilizer rods should form an X between the posts. Using a nine-sixteenths inch wrench, tighten the set screws in the top of each stabilizer rod.
