HOW TO CHECK THE LIFT WINCH CABLE GUIDE

The cable guide is made for three thousand to seven thousand pound vertical lifts. It helps the cable wind up properly on the winch and prevent cable jumping. Make sure your lift has a cable guide on it and that the cable is running between the two PVC rollers. The cable guide is located where the cable enters the bottom of the lift winch box. Make sure the bolts are secure, but not too tight, so the PVC rollers can spin freely with the cable.
