How to Install the Adjustable Wheel Kit
The L95 Adjustable Wheel Kit for Truss Docks includes a sixty-inch leg and can be installed along the side of the dock to create a roll-in system, or attached to individual sections for easier installation and removal. First, apply the provided adhesive wear pads to the inside of the leg pocket. Using the provided hardware, attach the pocket bracket to the outside of the dock frame. Place the angle brackets over the bolts vertically on each end of the pocket bracket inside the dock frame. Tighten the bolt nuts with a nine-sixteenths-inch wrench. Once the pocket bracket is secure, slide the leg through the pocket so that the bolt holes run the same direction as the dock frame. Place the two flat angle pieces on each side of the leg, aligning the bolt holes. They should hang a few inches below the bottom of the leg with a single bolt hole remaining at the bottom. Attach the flat angle pieces to the leg with the bolts provided. Run the axle between the two flat pieces and underneath the width of the dock. Insert the third bolt into the bottom of the two flat pieces to hold the axle. Slide the wheel onto the horizontal axle. Insert the cotter pin into the end of the axle, securing the wheel in place. Adjust the wheel to your desired deck height and tighten the two set screws on the pocket with a half-inch wrench to secure it in place. Repeat these steps on the opposite side of the dock for the other wheel. Make sure the brackets are directly opposite each other so that the axle is straight and does not damage the wheels when rolling.
